Dan is a Consultant in the Advanced Rate Design practice, specializing in cost of capital analysis, financial modeling, large load tariffs, and cost allocation. He has supported CEG clients on testimony and thought leadership projects spanning return on equity, utility finance, rate design, and cost of service modeling.
Prior to joining CEG, Dan managed a research initiative on financial services for the poor at the University of California, Berkeley’s Center for Effective Global Action and worked with strategic global clients on investment analysis and portfolio construction at Dimensional Fund Advisors. He holds an MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University and a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.
