Sara O’Herron is a Consultant in the Power System Planning practice at CEG. Sara specializes in data analytics, econometric forecasting, and power system modeling. Prior to joining CEG, Sara worked as a consultant at Guidehouse where she led the production cost model for ERCOT and conducted market modeling and policy research for clients in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, supporting strategic decisions on long-duration storage, ancillary services, and solar M&A.
Sara has expertise in R, Python, SQL, PSO and PLEXOS, applying these tools to support systems modeling and analysis of large databases. Sara holds a B.A. in International Studies from Dickinson College, where she graduated summa cum laude with a concentration in sustainability and a minor in economics.
