Tara is a Consultant in the Regulatory & Policy Innovation Practice Area at Current Energy Group, bringing technical, research, and policy experience working with electric utilities.
Prior to joining CEG, Tara was a Senior Climate Resilience Specialist at ICF, where she led climate vulnerability and resilience planning projects for electric utilities across North America. She supported more than 20 utilities in evaluating climate risk through assessments that informed infrastructure planning and investment decisions. Her work also included developing public-facing dashboards and geospatial tools that link climate risk exposure to infrastructure assets and planning outcomes. Tara brings strong experience in policy research and technical writing, translating technical and regulatory analysis into clear, accessible materials for utility and stakeholder audiences. Tara has also contributed to energy and infrastructure research at The Brookings Institution and the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment, with work spanning infrastructure policy, supply chain emissions, and carbon accounting.
Tara holds a Master’s degree in Natural Resource and Energy Policy from the Colorado School of Mines and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Studies and Economics from Brown University.
